The Peoples Bank, Fleetwood Insurance Group and BGV Insurance have established a scholarship program for graduating seniors of Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties. We have allocated $6,000.00 to fund a yearly scholarship program. These funds will be awarded to a graduating seniors from all three counties, to be paid directly to student’s institution of higher education upon notification of enrollment.

Our Scholarship Program is designed to recognize the youth of our counties and encourage continued education as self-improvement. While there are no forward obligation requirements under the program as to residency, it is hoped that it will support the continuing education desires for graduating seniors living here and desiring to make a life in our communities. In evaluating applications, the committee members will consider educational success to date in school, service to community, involvement in outside activities, applicant’s goals and aspirations, financial need, and essay response.
